A 32-year-old Shelton woman has been charged with one count of vehicular homicide after striking and killing a pedestrian in the road just prior to midnight April 30 on the 1400 block of West Railroad Avenue in Shelton. According to court documents, Lindsay Ray Hartman is charged in the death of 35-yard-old Rocael Perez Pablo, who was pronounced dead at the scene after being hit by Hartman’s car. PUD 1 plans Bellwood water outage Thursday Mason County PUD 1 announced a water outage for Bellwood A&B system users from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday to do electrical work to install a generator. According to a Twitter post, PUD 1 is asking people to have extra drinking water on hand and turn off the breaker to their hot water heater. Nadia Marie Hovind peacefully passed away in her sleep at 2:05 a.m. April 28, 2022, in the Moana Valley on the island of Oahu. She was holding her daughter, Wendy's hand. Although she started her next journey from Oahu, she was a dyed-in-the-wool Shelton girl. Nadia loved movies. Her favorite was Out of Africa. D. Jean Lee passed away on May 13, 2002 at the age of 96. Hers was a life well lived. Born in Quilcene, Washington in 1925, she was the youngest of four children.
