100 years

The Fred Meyer in Shelton celebrated the company's 100th anniversary Friday with a ribbon cutting, cupcakes, and activities and prizes in the parking lot. Holding the giant scissors in the center of the photo are longtime employees Trudi Loertscher (40 years) and Luke Monroe (33 years). The first Fred Meyer debuted in Portland, Oregon.
