Joseph Castelluccio, Sr.

Joseph Castelluccio, Sr., of Olympia, Washington, passed away on September 3rd, 2023. He was 76. Joseph, fondly known as Joe, was born in Genoa, Italy, on April 10th, 1947. He came to the United States at the age of 15; he met Juanita at the age of 19 on October 28th, 1966, while serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Lewis, Washington. Joe and Juanita were married on March 1st, 1969.

Joe is survived by his loving wife Juanita and their two children, Joseph Castelluccio, Jr., his wife Jamie Castelluccio and Natascia Palmas, her husband Michael Palmas, his grandchildren; Breanna, Christopher, Alyssa, Nicole, Allen, Jaden and Lakoda Rayne, and their great-grandchildren; Fox, Nanalaeya and Zaikael. He is also survived by his brother Diego Castelluccio, his wife Mariucca in Italy, his many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly in the United States and in Italy.

The Celebration of Joseph's Life will be held at the Squaxin Island Community Kitchen, 50 SE Squaxin Lane, Shelton, WA 98584, on Sunday, November 5th, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations towards travel expenses for Juanita to take Joes ashes back to Italy to be with his family.
