Port of Allyn looks for Oyster House volunteers

They say Rome wasn't bult in a day. And some projects have trials and tribulations along the way. That has been our Sargeants Oyster house. But the progress it going!

Moving forward Executive Director Travis Merril and myself sought our representatives Dan Griffey and Travis Coutour to seek an extension on the funding we have for the Sargent Oyster house relocation and restoration. The biologist Bill Rehe has gotten back onto the project and he and Peter Leon of Leon Consulting has made some strides in getting the Shoreline permitting reestablished.
