The Shelton High School Special Olympics Club sent two squads to compete at the Special Olympics Winter Games last weekend in Wenatchee. The Shelton Highclimbers team won all three of its games Saturday and were bumped up to a higher division Sunday, losing both and placing fourth. The Mason County Alleycats won two of three games Saturday and both games Sunday to win the gold medal. The participants enjoyed the opening ceremonies Friday night, and a dance Saturday night.
