Chamber winners announced at gala

The North Mason Chamber of Commerce celebrated its "Western Glam" gala at Alderbrook Resort & Spa in Union on Saturday with a silent auction, music, dancing and awards.

Bent Bine Brew Co. took business of the year award, Hood Canalé was named new business of the year, nonprofit of the year went to Humane Society of Mason County, Darren Eisele of Hood Canal Communications was awarded member of the year, Stephanie Shumaker won citizen of the year and chairman's choice award went to Rick Hlas of Scott McLendon's Hardware.
