Bringing books to life

Former Mountain View Elementary School teacher Dann Gagnon reads aloud "The Legend of Rock Paper Scissors" by Drew Daywalt and Adam Rex on Friday at the school as part of the program Read Across America. At the annual event, community members read to students in kindergarten through the third grade. The readers included Shelton School District Superintendent Wyeth Jessee and School Board member James Dale.
