Mason County treasurer to retire
Lisa Frazier, Mason County treasurer for the past 25 years, has announced her retirement, effective July 1.
Frazier, who was reelected in 2022, gave the board “plenty of time” to find a replacement for her unexpired term, she said at a county commission meeting Feb. 4.
“It’s time for me to retire. I’m proud of my 45 years of service to the citizens of Mason County,” Frazier said at the meeting.
She has been the county treasurer for the past 25 years and has worked in the Mason County Treasurer’s Office her entire career, the first 20 years in different position...
