North Mason Baseball

The Bulldogs lost three games in the past week as the regular season winds down.

North Mason fell 13-2 on April 28 to Bainbridge in Belfair. The Bulldogs traveled to Poulsbo on Monday for a doubleheader against North Kitsap, losing 12-1 and 5-4.

The Bulldogs (2-11 overall, 1-9 league) traveled to Port Angeles for a Tuesday doubleheader and faced Olympic on the road Wednesday. North Mason wraps up the regular season Friday at home on senior day against Bremerton.

Boys soccer

North Mason dropped three games last week in Olympic League soccer action.

The Bulldogs lost 4-0 to Kingston on April 26, 7-0 to North Kitsap on April 28 and 8-1 to Sequim on April 30.

North Mason (2-12, 1-12) ends the season today against North Kitsap in Poulsbo.

Softball

North Mason softball split four games last week in league and nonleague games.

The Bulldogs fell to Port Angeles 8-2 on April 26 on the road before returning home and earning a 10-0 win against Bremerton on April 28. North Mason traveled to Forks for a nonleague doubleheader on April 30, losing the first game 6-4, but bouncing back with a 15-5 win in the second game.

North Mason (9-4, 6-2) traveled to Sequim on Tuesday and hosted Olympic on Wednesday. The Bulldogs travel to take on Olympic today and are on the road against Kingston on Monday in Olympic League action.

Girls golf

North Mason lost two Olympic League golf matches last week.

The Bulldogs lost 274-228 to Port Angeles on April 26 at LakeLand Village.

The Bulldogs hosted Olympic at LakeLand Village on Wednesday and travel to Kitsap Golf and Country Club on Monday for an Olympic League tournament.

Shelton Boys soccer

Shelton had a tough week with two losses in Evergreen Conference games last week.

The Highclimbers lost 3-0 to Aberdeen on the road April 26 and fell on the road against Centralia 4-1.

Shelton (0-10, 0-10) hosted Rochester on senior night Tuesday and ends the regular season today on the road against Tumwater.

Softball

The Highclimber softball team fell in four Evergreen Conference games last week.

Shelton lost to Rochester 4-3 on the road April 27 and dropped a doubleheader at home against Tumwater on April 29, losing 8-0 and 10-0. The Highclimbers traveled to Centralia on Monday and lost 5-2.

Shelton (4-13, 3-11) travels to Chehalis on Friday to take on W.F. West and hosts Black Hills on Monday.

Girls golf

Shelton finished sixth in the Sibley Tournament at Alderbrook Golf Course in Union on April 25.

The Sibley Tournament paired teammates for a two-man best ball tournament and added up two scores for a team's total. Shelton's Kaia Johnson and Taylia Budge shot an 85 and Alena Hall and Gabby Stevens shot a 103 for a total of 188.

Aberdeen's Britt Rajcich and Kaitlyn McCracken and Montesano's Hailey Blancas and Maggi Kupca each shot a 77 to tie for medalist honors. Montesano won the tournament with a 164, beating Aberdeen by one shot. W.F. West finished third.

Shelton hosted Aberdeen at Alderbrook on April 27 and fell 102-59. Johnson tallied 27 points, Hall totaled 13 points, Budge scored 12 points and Stevens chipped in seven points.

Aberdeen's Britt Rajcich won medalist honors with 31 points.

The Highclimbers hosted Elma at Alderbrook on April 28 and lost 87-55. Johnson tied for medalist honors with 21 points and carding a 51.

Budge scored 14 points, Stevens added 13 points and Hall rounded out the Highclimbers with seven points.

Shelton earned a win Monday on senior night at Alderbrook, defeating Centralia 60-51. Centralia's Sam Johnson tied with Shelton's Kaia Johnson for medalist honors with 23 points, carding a 49.

Budge tallied 19 points, Hall added 14 points and Stevens totaled four points for Shelton's highest team total of the season.

Shelton traveled to Riverside Golf Course in Chehalis to take on Rochester on Wednesday in an Evergreen Conference match.

Girls tennis

Shelton fell to Black Hills 6-0 in an Evergreen Conference girls tennis match in Shelton on April 29.

The Highclimbers wrapped up the regular season Monday against Tumwater on senior day.
