Dedicated to the citizens of Mason County, Washington since 1886

Guy Lusignan

Guy was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was born January 2, 1936, in San Francisco, CA to Dr. Harry and Aeneid Lusignan.

Guy met the love of his life, Josephine, at the University of Washington. They married July 17, 1957. They moved to Shelton in 1968, due to his transfer as a forester from the Simpson Everett office to Shelton. He started his own consultant forestry business in 1972. He then spent the next 28 years doing what he loved, retiring in 2000. Guy was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church. He spent countless hours participating in everything from youth group hikes, bible studies, church repairs, church activities, building sets and acting in plays and much more. Guy was always busy working on projects around the house as well. He was an accomplished woodworker and made many heirlooms for his family. Guy was also an avid gardener, continuing to work in his garden once the kids had all moved out, giving the extra bounty to the local food bank.

Guy was preceded in death by his parents and oldest son, Eric. He is survived by his wife of almost 65 years, Josephine, his son Peter Lusignan of Shelton (his son Reid), daughter Jann Lusignan of Shelton (her children Stacey & Rachel), and Mollie (Keith) Zaring of Centennial, CO (their daughter Paige); and four great-grandchildren. Guy is also survived by his brother Bruce, numerous nieces and a nephew.

There was nothing Guy loved more than a homemade piece of pie! Please come help us celebrate his life. Memorial Service to be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 1212 Connection St., Shelton, WA, March 12th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a piece of pie in the Fellowship Hall.

All that loved Guy are invited to attend.
