Deanna Marilyn Lacey

Deanna Marilyn Lacey died peacefully in her sleep January 15, 2022, at her home.

She was born July 30, 1938, to Minor S. Lynch and Elsie L. Lynch in Seattle, WA. Raised in Seattle, Deanna attended Leshi Elementay Schools, Nathan Eckstien Junior High, Roosevelt High School, and Spokane Falls Community College and the University of Washington.

Deanna married Jack S. Holbrook, father of her three children (1960-1970) also married Robert L. Lacey (1970 until his passing in 2006).

Her diverse employment history included Department Store clerk, Avon Rep., office clerk, bookkeeper/accountant, partner of Lake Cushman Resort, owner of Lou's Meats & Deli in Hoodsport, tavern/restaurant owner of QuarterDeck Tavern and QuarterDeck Gallery in Union, WA and in Shelton, WA. She was a Corrections Officer at Shelton Correctional Facility from 1986 until her retirement in 2003.

Deanna's favorite interests were wood carving, singing, cooking, and traveling, her favorite destinations were Greece and Mexico. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi (Seattle, WA State), Officers Wives Club (Subic Bay, Phillipines), Olympia Wood Carders, New Community Church of Union, WA, Praise band member and Anna's Bay Chorale.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law Joanne F. Reese and William Reese, and survived by her three sons; Scott R. Holbrook of Bonney Lake, WA, Douglas J. Holbrook of Las Vegas, NV, Bradley A. Holbrook of Fruita, CO, and four grandchildren; Chase, Derek, Tyler and Alexis.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: The New Community Church of Union or Washington State Chapter of the American Lung and Heart Associations.
