MASON PUD 3 is seeking a new team member to join as our Financial Accounting Manager. Responsibilities include compiling, consolidating, and analyzing financial information, ensuring compliance with GAAP, FERC, and GASB Statements, and overseeing the District's accounting systems; Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), for both internal and external stakeholders; Ensure accuracy in financial systems, troubleshoot accounting issues, and propose system improvements; Oversee financial compliance, including maintaining accurate information for rating agencies and managing revenue bond issuances; Collaborate with consultants on rate-setting evaluations and provide technical expertise to management; Assist in audits conducted by the Washington State Auditor's Office and monitor the annual operating budget. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA license preferred; 7-10 years of accounting experience, including financial statement preparation and utility accounting; Leadership and supervisory experience. The Financial Accounting Manager's salary is expected to align within the midpoint of the established range over time as proficiency and satisfactory performance are demonstrated: $129,670 – $194,510 annually. 4/10 Work Schedule Mason PUD 3 is an equal opportunity employer.
