Debra Ann Jennings passed away at her home in Shelton on Friday, August 2, 2024, from complications of COPD. She was born on January 21, 1954, in Aberdeen, Washington. Debra graduated from Shelton High School in 1972.
Debra worked as the Soldering Lead at Asemco Manufacturing Inc. from 1980 to 1990 and was the Production Control Manager at Barnes Machine, Inc. from 1990 to 1999.
She is survived by her devoted husband Edward Jennings of Shelton, WA; her daughter Wendy Lawson and her husband Zac Lawson, along with their daughters Merissa and Marlee Lawson of Olympia, WA; her son Tim Keyzers and his wife Mya Keyzers, along with their daughter Luella Keyzers of Shelton, WA; her sister Teri Ward and her husband James Ward of Angleton, Texas; and her nieces Kori Rivera of Richwood, Texas, and Kristin Kingery of Lake Jackson, Texas.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents Ronald and Irene Spoon and her grandparents Walter and Happie Spoon.
Debra enjoyed camping, fishing, and drinking coffee on the front porch. She liked taking long drives, especially to her favorite place overlooking the ocean in Lincoln City, Oregon, and was an avid fan of reality TV shows. She loved thrift store shopping and winning at slots and a good game of Bingo; she had a system and would play several cards at once. Antiques by day - gamble at night!
She loved spoiling her three granddaughters, Merissa, Marlee, and Luella, and took birthdays and every holiday to the next level. She was known for making delicious éclairs and cakes and would prepare an elaborate amount of food for every event.
“Rest in peace, Debra. You will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved you!”
