David M. Kimball

Honoring the life of David M. Kimball, a long-time Shelton resident. For more than 60 years, Dave lived, loved and worked in Shelton. He was one of six children. His parents Allan and Helen moved to Washington from Rapid City, South Dakota, where he was born in 1934. He worked for Simpson for more than 40 years, his last job being head planerman, in Mill 3, Shelton waterfront.

He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with family. He was a kind, loving, and generous man who loved his family and the Lord. He did many good works during his time here.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and George, his son, Gary "Dennis" Kimball, and wife Jean (Walter). He is survived by siblings Morton (Yelm), Thomas (Dayton) and Kathy (Yelm), also a daughter, Lisa, of Kelso, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Although he left this earth on October 26, 2021, at age 87 after suffering with bone cancer, he is honored now and always, and is sorely missed.
