Donald James Fox

January 26, 1938 - November 27, 2023

Donald passed away at his home in Shelton on November 27th, 2023, after a long illness. He was born, January 16, 1938.

Donald is survived by his wife, Judy Fox of Shelton, Washington, sons, Marc Fox of Wintergarden, Florida; Tony Fox of Port Orchard, Washington, stepson, Brock Perryman of Shelton, Washington, stepdaughter, Theresa Vail of Pahrump, Nevada and six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving is ex-wife Lois Fox of Bremerton, Washington.

Donald was a lifelong hunter and outdoorsman, having taught Hunters Education for the State of Washington for 50 plus years and teaching marksmanship and firearm safety for the Boy Scouts of American for 13 years, after his retirement from the U.S. Postal Service and Washington National Guard. Donald was born and grew up in Bremerton, Washington, and learned gunsmithing as a young man, eventually opening Fox’s Gun Shop.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Saint Edwards Catholic Church in Shelton on February 24th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Donald will be interned at Mt. Tahoma National Military Cemetery.
