Suzanne Duncan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her three granddaughters, and a lot of love on December 8th, 2023, just four days shy of her 68th birthday.
She was born in Misawa, Japan to Marvin and Helen Lick on December 12th,1955, and was a twin. Her family moved to Shelton when she was a young girl, in 1965, and she resided in Shelton the rest of her life.
Suzanne married the love of her life, J. David Duncan, in July of 1997, at Tumwater Falls in Tumwater, WA.
She worked for a short time at Safeway in Shelton, had a cleaning company for several years, and spent the majority of her life as a homemaker. Her favorite thing to do was to be around her family, and spend time with her grandchildren and her husband. She loved sketching in her book, drawing pictures for her grandkids to color, and helping everyone she could.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Cathie Haselwood.
She is survived by her loving husband David, her sons, Steven (Debi) Smith and Joshua Smith, and her daughter, Tanya (Jamie) Schuettke, all of Shelton; her grandchildren, Asaisha (Wyatt) Smith, Kaylin (Kushiah) McCullough, Alexzandria (Devin) Keel, Roger Schuettke and Kadin Keel. Surviving siblings are Terri Collum, Mel Lick, and Micheal Jameson.
Her services will be January 7th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Skookum Hall, 3480 SE Lynch Rd in Shelton, and the family is asking that you wear purple, her favorite color.
