David Kirk Campbell

David Kirk Campbell, born on September 1st, 1951, departed this world on the morning of December 6th, 2023, at his home in Shelton, WA. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Campbell, and his mother, Georgia Henrickson. David is survived by his sister, Claudia Rosa, and leaves behind a lasting legacy, celebrated by his four children: Kirk Campbell, Amber Low, Raquel Collins, Shane Stevenson, along with his 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nephew Troy Derrickson, and two best friends, Richard and Jack.

A man of unwavering passion, David was known for speaking his mind and spreading joy with his infectious laughter. His journey began in Oregon, where he cultivated the values that would shape his remarkable life. Later, he found his home in Washington, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.

David's connection with the great outdoors was profound, and he found solace in the simplicity of nature. Camping, fishing, and hunting were not just pastimes for him; they were avenues through which he forged unforgettable memories with family and friends. His love for the wild mirrored his adventurous spirit, which he carried with him from the days of racing motorcycles in his youth to the serene moments of contemplation in his later years.

His legacy isn't just in the tales of motorcycle races or his numerous hunting trips; it's in the everyday moments where he showed up, laughed with abandon, and loved without reservation. His impact is felt not only in the grand adventures but in the quiet, personal moments that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.

As we bid farewell to David, let us remember the laughter that brightened our days, the passion that fueled his every endeavor, and the love that he shared so generously. May his spirit find eternal peace, and may the memories of his vibrant life continue to inspire us all.
