Bernice Louise Langley

Bernice Louise Langley, age 64, died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on November 15, 2023 at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bernice was born on September 2, 1959 in Shelton, Washington. Her parents were Don and Phyllis Lyon. She had three brothers and five sisters.

On August 6, 1993 Bernice married Rocky Lee Langley. Between them, they have six children - Danielle, Eli, Ricky, Jennifer, Michael, and Ben - 21 grandchildren and one great grandchild. They also have a beloved cat named Pi.

One of Bernice's talents was cooking. She was employed as a cook at a college as well as several restaurants. She also loved to host meals for her children and grandchildren. In her free time, Bernice loved to be outdoors. She had an amazing green thumb as evidenced by her beautiful flower beds and plants. She liked to go fishing, camping, and boating with family. In the fall, she was often decked out in blue and green, cheering on her Seahawks football team.

A characteristic of Bernice that was admired by family and friends was her determination. No matter what obstacles she faced, she never gave up.
