Rodney Lee LeGrande

Rodney Lee LeGarde, born October 1, 1948, peacefully passed away at his home with family by his side. He was born in Elma, Washington to Harold and Elizabeth LeGarde (Valley).

Rodney graduated from Shelton High School in 1968, and went to work for Simpson Timber Company until his retirement in 2010. Rodney enjoyed hunting, camping, drag racing, wrestling, and the Seahawks. He was wealthy in friendships and the love of family; he valued spending time with both. He was a genuinely kind person with a big heart and a unique laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy LeGarde; his five children, Shawn Beebe (Katie), Jeanie Beebe (Ron Greene), Clint Valley (Carrie), James Beebe (Dannielle), and Bonnie Beebe; sisters Lorna Smith, Joanne Giraldes (Gary Rose); brother Lee LeGarde (Doralyn); twelve grandchildren, Chad Greene, Justin Beebe, Kelsey Beebe, Logan Beebe, Jerod Wallette, Lainie Wallette, Grace Beebe, Matthew Beebe, Cory O'Neil, Ronald Valley, Jacob Valley, Alin Chappell, one great-grandchild, Harold Beebe, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother Ronnie LeGarde.

A celebration of Rodney's life will be held on October 7th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
