Steven J. Bogart

Steven J. Bogart of Shelton, WA passed away on August 11, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Steven, fondly known as "Bogie", was born to Floyd and Georgene Bogart on May 27, 2023, 1953, in Everett, WA.

He was an amazing father, grandfather, husband, brother and friend. He loved and lived for hunting and fishing. He moved to Forks, WA to be a logger. He made many friends over the years while living there. While he lived in Forks, he not only made an impact in the logging industry, but he opened his own fishing guide services. He would take people on guided trips down the Hoh and Bogachiel rivers. Bogie lived to make memories, and having fun while doing so. He then moved to Shelton, WA and has touched so many lives.

He is survived by his wife Julie, his two daughters, Charity and Terra, his five beautiful granddaughters, Brittany, Shelby, Coral, Calliope and Collette, as well as his two son-in-laws, Ron and Ethan; also survived by siblings, Sherry, Mary, Bev, Danny and Tony.

Aside from his love for hunting and fishing, Steven was passionate about giving back and helping others. He helped Veterans and homeless people all the time. He would even just be a listening ear. Bogie was a loving and caring man who will be deeply missed by so many!

Steven's family will be holding a Celebration of his life here in Shelton, WA on September 24, 2023 at 5111 E. Brockdale Rd., at 12:00 p.m.
