Joshua Thomas Chappell

Joshua Thomas Chappell passed away at Tacoma General Hospital on May 29, 2023, born December 30, 1977. He is survived by his Mom Lorna Chappell, sister, Tina Monaco, brother Jason Chappell, daughters Miranda and Sierra Chappell, and preceded in death by his Dad Charles Chappell and son, Jacob Chappell.

A triple aortic aneurism took him suddenly from us. Josh was an organ donor and we hope that whomever he was able to help are doing well.

He will be greatly missed. Josh had many adventures in the great outdoors; he enjoyed camping, rafting, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, quad riding, and hunting. He loved a good time, making friends, laughing, and cooking. He always made time to help others in the community here in Matlock. He also lived in Sitka, AK for 15-18 years where he made many friends.

We will have a memorial celebrating his life at Truman Glick Park in Matlock on August 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Come and share food and your stories of your time with Josh.
