John Hardaway Connolly

John "Jack" Hardaway Connolly passed away peacefully at the age of 94. He was born in Olympia, Washington, and graduated high school from St. Martins in Olympia and attended St. Martins College and the State College of Washington. Jack was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the 562nd Medical Ambulance Company.

Among his many endeavors, he co-owned Shelton Meatpacking Company, was a founder of Romac Industries (manufacturer of pipe products), and farmed coffee in Quatemala.

He is predeceased by first wife Lu (Lucille Hemness) Connolly. Jack is survived by his wife Tuey Connolly, daughters Debbie Cowden (Mike), Nancy Blum (Joey), Joan Connolly (David Adee), two sisters, Jill and Colleen; four granddaughters, Danica, Ruby, Marissa, Sarafina, and one great-grandson Otto.

A celebration of Jack's life will be held this Sunday, July 30th 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Schirm Loop Lavender Farm, 2434 Schirm Loop Road NW, Olympia WA.
