Brian Hayden Tindall

Brian was born December 30, 1962 in Bellingham, Washington, to Judith and Reed Tindall. By the time his sister Jean was born in 1966, the family was living in Mount Vernon, Washington. In 1974 his mother married Duane Eitreim, and the family went to live on Duane's farm in Bow, Washington. Whenever possible, they went to stay with their Shelton and Hood Canal families where many happy memories were made.

In 1981 Brian graduated from Sehome High School in Bellingham, Washington and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force later that year. He left for basic training at Lackland AF base in Texas to begin his 20 years of service to the U.S. military. Brian and Kathleen Shell were married November 27, 1982 in Austin, Texas, and they were living on Bergstrom AFB when their daughter Anne-Marie Claire was born October 23, 1986. The last 12 years of his military career were as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. While stationed in the United Arab Emirates he served as the senior USAF counterintelligence official. Brian met and married Judith Margarita Nuñez on November 24, 1994, while stationed in Panama. After they were stateside, they welcomed their daughter Nicole Isabel on September 14, 1997 and later made their home in Bellevue, Nebraska. After retirement from the military, Brian worked for 10 years in service to U.S. STRATCOM as a Counterintelligence and Strategic Cyber Threat Analyst, and for six years at NASA as a Counterintelligence Special Agent.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Eitreim; father-in-law Rufino Nuñez; grandparents Curtis and Virginia Grout, Sydney and Irene Tindall, and Claire and Viola Eitreim; uncle Dave Maars and aunt Diann Maars. He is survived by his wife, Judith Margarita Tindall; daughters Anne-Marie (Valerie) Shell and Nicole Isabel Tindall; father Reed (Barbara) Tindall; stepfather Duane Eitreim mother-in-law Isabel Noriega; sister Jean (Patrick) O'dell; brothers-in-law Edgar Nuñez, Jaime Nuñez, and Jose Nuñez; sisters-in-law Marlene Nuñez, Maria Nuñez, Luzmilla Nuñez, Sonia Nuñez, Elizaneth Nuñez, Marianela Nuñez, and Ana Nuñez; uncles Christopher Grout and Steve (Dee) Grout; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephew, both in the United States and Panama.

A graveside service honoring Brian will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 21st, at Bow Cemetery, Cemetary Road, Bow, Washington. A reception will follow at the O'dell home located at 19899 Hill Court, Burlington, Washington. In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations to the Disabled American Veterans or the Wounded Warrior Project.
