The City of Shelton's second annual Movies in the Park series kicked off Friday with the screening of the 1995 film "Jumanji." About 100 people attended, with many of the children swinging, sliding, and playing basketball and soccer as the sun set. The free movies continue with "Holes" on Friday, "Shrek" on July 28, "The Mighty Ducks" Aug. 4 and "Space Jam" Aug. 11. The screening of "Back to the Future" slated for Aug. 18 has been rescheduled for Aug. 25 due to staffing availability.
