Puget Sound Fire Captain Jim Blatt, a member of the honor guard, presents a flag to Bonnie Knight, widow of retired Central Mason Fire Chief Richard A. Knight during a memorial service Saturday at North Mason High School in Belfair. Knight was fire chief for Mason County Fire District 5, which became Central Mason Fire & EMS, for 55 years. He died May 20 at his Allyn home after a battle with cancer.
