Dedicated to the citizens of Mason County, Washington since 1886

Christian Boad

Christian was born in Shelton, WA on June 2, 1969 to Pamela (Robb) Boad and Stevenson L. Boad, both of Shelton. He passed away at his parents' home from cancer on May 25, 2023.

Christian graduated from Shelton High School in 1987 and immediately enlisted in the U.S. Army. After his service he went on to obtain an Associate's Degree in Horticulture at SPSCC. While there, he met his wife Teresa Snyder of New York. They had two sons and later divorced. He later became a partner in his family's Robb's Construction business and learned that trade while building and remodeling many homes in Mason and Thurston Co. When the business closed in 2015 he began flipping houses and moved to Kent, WA. There he found his dream job working for Uyeta Landscape as their Construction Manager until the end of 2022. Even after moving away, he enjoyed coming back to volunteer at Shelton High School's Invitational track meets and Mason County's 'Relay for Life' events.

Many will remember him from his High School swimming and lifeguarding at the pool and as coach for the "Shelton Sharks" youth swim team. Before leaving Shelton he had many side jobs including his Karaoke/DJ business. With his engaging personality he made all his events extra fun.

He enjoyed waterskiing on Isabella Lake where he grew up, traveling, spending time with his friends and family, especially his boys. Christian had a big personality with a soft heart and a dog in his truck.

Christian is survived by his parents: his sons, Grayden C. Boad of Alexandria, VA and Fletcher S. Boad of Bremerton, WA: his brother Carter L Boad (Brenda) of Lynnwood WA, niece Victoria Boad and nephew Corey Boad, both of Phoenix, AZ , as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

There will be a private family gathering later this summer to honor him. Memorial donations can be made to the Mason/Thurston Co. Relay for life.
