The trio of Karen Halpern, Alex Guirand and Debbie Dohrmann, won Sound Learning's 27th annual Spell-E-Bration fundraiser Friday at the Shelton Civic Center. The trio - named Spellbound - beat 10 other teams with the correct spelling of "scotopia," which is the ability of the eye to adjust for night vision.
