Central Mason Fire & EMS, the Washington State Patrol and the Mason County Sheriff's Office staged a mock accident event titled "Last Dance" Thursday at North Mason High School. The event is designed to show students at the Belfair school the dangers and effects of driving under the influence. North Mason High School junior Raymond Felton, above, was one of the designated fatalities in the presentation. The students selected didn't return to school following the event, making students contemplate their sudden absence. On Friday, the school had an assembly that included those students' parents delivering eulogies and State Patrol and Sheriff's Office deputies discussing the legal consequences of driving under the influence.
