Dedicated to the citizens of Mason County, Washington since 1886

Sandra "Sandy" Ann Deyette

Sandra Ann Deyette "Sandy", 74, died peacefully in her sleep on April 16, 2023. Sandy was a life-long Shelton resident. She was well known and a respected member of the community.

Sandy was a natural people person. She enjoyed her work at Evergreen Elementary School and her many years at The Pine Tree. Sandy did not know a stranger and loved going around town to visit with and share stories with all. Her favorite time was spent under her gazebo enjoying the revolving door of family and friends who stopped by to say hi. Sandy was quick to provide "loving advice" to all those she cared about and freely gave anything she had to help others.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Arzella Leeberg. She was a wonderful mother to her five children, Brian, Frank, Kelly, Wendy, and Destiny. She was also a loving sister, aunt, grandma, great-grandma, great-great-grandma, and so much more.

Her absence leaves an un-fill able void, felt by the many that loved her. Sandy is now reunited with her husband, Roger, in heaven.

A Celebration of Life is to be held at Mason County Senior Activities Center (The Pavillion), 190 W Sentry Drive, Shelton, on Saturday, June 3, 2023. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the service starting at 3:00 p.m.
