Climber track shines in home meet with Wolves

The Shelton High School track and field teams defeated Black Hills in an Evergreen Conference dual meet April 13 at Highclimber Stadium in Shelton. The Climbers' Kennadi Ward, left, and Maddie Allred, won the 100- and 200- meter races, respectively.

Shelton won both the boys and girls team titles in an Evergreen Conference dual meet at Highclimber Stadium last Thursday.

In girls action, Kennadi Ward won the 100-meter dash in 14.14 seconds and Maddie Allred won the 200-meter dash in 30.48 seconds. Magdalena Vondrousova won the 800-meter dash in 2 minutes, 40 seconds and Lily Bennett won the 1,600-meter race in 5:45.44. Maryjane Hageman won the 100-meter hurdles in 18.11 seconds and the 300-meter hurdles in 58.30 seconds.

The 4x100 relay team of Brookey Smith, Quin Neal, Delfina Ramirez and Ward won in 55.27. The 4x200 relay team of Sm...
