Lloyd J. McHargue

September 25, 1938- March 16, 2023

Lloyd passed away on March 16, 2023, surrounded by his family. Lloyd was born in Aberdeen Washington growing up between there and Drewsey, Oregon, where he was raised by his Uncle and Aunt. At age 14 he moved to Sedro Woolley to live with his Dad. At age 18, he worked for the Northern State Hospital in Sedro-Woolley, WA. He met and married Ann Lambert whom he was married to for 62+ years until her passing last May.

Lloyd was drafted into the Army and served during the Vietnam conflict as a medic and was discharged as an E6. He was an avid garage/estate sale enthusiast, sometimes waiting in line a couple of hours early just to be the first one into the sale. He enjoyed woodworking and buying and fixing clocks. Lloyd worked for Washington Correction Center for 30+ years as a Physician Assistant and retired at age 57.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife Ann, daughter Teresa and grandson Dominic. Lloyd is survived by his son Jeff McHargue, daughter Tami (Glenn) Wattum, grandchildren Nicole (Tyler) LaRue, Gabrielle Wattum, Alexis (Blake) McHargue-Stanley, Isaac Wattum, Caleb Wattum and great-granddaughter Emma LaRue.

Services will be held at the Shelton Presbyterian church on April 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
