Ralph Norman Cook

Ralph was born in Tillamook, OR to Linza and Margurette Cook on August 23, 1936. The family moved to Matlock when he was six years old. Ralph attended Mary M. Knight School District and graduated in 1954.

Ralph eloped to Coeur d'Alene, ID with Deanna Hall, his high school sweetheart in 1955. They recently celebrated 68 years of marriage. Ralph retired in 1984 from Simpson Timber Company after 30 years as Railroad Foreman and then Superintendent. His retirement was busy working with his family on his Noble Fir Christmas tree farm and in the hay fields. His favorite trips were to the Sequim game farm with his grandkids, visiting friends in Yuma, AZ and weekends at Cannon Beach.

He is survived by Deanna and his children, Diana Goldy (Jake), Daniel Cook (Robin), and Molly Christensen (Allan) and by 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Wynona Howard and Wanita McCowan. His oldest son, Ralph Norman, Jr., sister, Wanda Springer and brother, Lowell Cook, predeceased him.

Ralph loved his family and the homestead that he farmed. He will be greatly missed by all his extended family. At Ralph's request, no funeral services will be held.
