Mary M. Knight High School girls basketball coach Mike Bateman was named 1B Coastal League girls basketball coach of the year in a vote of the league's coaches.

Three Owls make coastal all-league

Mary M. Knight High School has three players on the 1B Coastal League all-league girls basketball team.

Sophomore guard Hailey Morris was named to the all-league first team, just three points shy of being named the league MVP. Sophomore Cloey Fletcher earned first team recognition, coming in third place in the MVP voting.

Senior Hailey Lohman was named an honorable mention.

MMK coach Mike Bateman was named the girls coach of the year.
