Stephanie Ann Johnson of Lacey, WA passed away on December 10th, 2022, at age 63 due to natural causes. She was born in Hastings, Nebraska to Richard Allen Hottle, and Vivian Lavon Hottle (Roeder) on August 1, 1959, into a United States Air Force family. Some of her fondest memories were of her time in Germany, which was evident in her love of German food and culture.
Stephanie attended schools in Nebraska, California, Virginia, Germany, and Louisiana before graduating from Central High School in Woodstock, Virginia in 1977. After graduating, she married and moved to Montana where she and her husband had three amazing children. After several years in Montana, she moved to Shelton, WA where she resided for multiple years eventually ending up in Lacey, WA.
Stephanie spent many years in real estate in Montana and Washington where she enjoyed a fulfilling career. She loved the ocean and would go there whenever she got the opportunity. A lifelong seafood lover, she spent time working at OysterFest in Shelton. Stephanie loved to cook and loved experimenting with new dishes, whether just for herself, or for friends and family. With a love for the Seattle Seahawks, gathering with friends and watching the game was one of her favorite things to do. Her children and grandchildren were the joys of her life and would spend any time she could either with them or video chatting with them.
Stephanie is survived by her three children: Christine (Joshua) Heiland, Daniel Gill, Kathleen (Steve) Giralt, her five grandchildren: Nathan, Cooper, Janelle, Avery and Kaylee. She is also survived by her four siblings: Jim Hottle, Cheryl Hottle, Sandy Hottle, and Linda Omps. She was preceded in death by both her parents.
