Community Resource Fair in Hoodsport Jan. 18

A Rural Community Resource Fair will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 18 at 331 N. Finch Creek Road, Hoodsport.

General support services are available, including health, vaccinations, rental and utility assistance, veterans’ assistance, food benefits and meals, transportation assistance, insurance navigation, housing assistance, educational support, financial fitness and free civil law aid.

Trio of bluegrass bands at Shelton High

The SteelHead Bluegrass Band, Borrowed Time and the local Runaway Train Bluegrass band will perform at the Kristmas Town Kiwanis’ Midwinter Bluegrass Celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Shelton High School Performing Arts Center.

Admission for the eighth annual concert is $20 for adults, and people 15 and younger are admitted for free.

Free workshop on planting form pollinators

The Mason Conservation District hosts the free workshop “Planting for Pollinators” from 6 to 7 p.m. Jan. 5 at the North Mason Timberland Library, 23081 NE state Route 3, Belfair.
