Mary M. Knight High School sophomore Hailey Morris drives around Shelton High School's Kodee Galloway during a girls basketball game Saturday in Matlock. The Owls' varsity squad defeated the Highclimbers' junior varsity team 37-19 to open the season. Morris scored 16 points and senior Hailey Lohman added 10 points for MMK (1-0.) The Owls led 11-7 at the end of the first quarter and held the Climbers scoreless in the second frame to take a 18-7 lead at halftime.
