Donate blood in Belfair today, Friday

Bloodworks Northwest is accepting donations of blood today and Friday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1171 N.E. Sand Hill Road, Belfair.

Churches accept gift donations for children

Calvary Fellowship of Shelton and The Bridge Church in Belfair are accepting donations of gifts packed in shoe boxes for the annual international Operation Christmas Child drive.

Calvary Fellowship of Shelton is at 50 E. Island Lake Road. Donation times are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today, noon to 3 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, and 10 a.m. to noon Monday.

The Bridge Church is at 23001 NE state Route 3 in Belfair. Donation times are 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. today, 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, and 8 to 10 a.m. Monday.

Donate online for Mason Health programs

For the third consecutive year, Mason General Hospital Foundation is participating in the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound’s Give Local campaign running through Friday online.

The money raised helps support the mission of Mason Health, providing medical equipment for Mason County patients.

Give Local South Puget Sound’s annual online campaign supports nonprofits in Mason, Thurston and Lewis counties. Over the past two years, Mason General Hospital Foundation has raised $21,710 through the campaign, which combined with the Bonus Fund match of $4,588, comes to $26,298.

Choirs, quintet perform Christmas concerts

Women of Note, the Harstine Island Community Choir and the Evergreen Brass Quintet perform a “Sounds of Christmas” concert at 4 p.m. Nov. 27 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1212 Connection St., Shelton.

The two choirs will team again for a concert at 3 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Harstine Island Community Hall, 3371 E. Harstine Island Road N.
