Friday, April 30, 1948

This morning Nell Anderson and Edna Haines came early and we went to catch the 10:15 boat. Mayme Gould nearly missed it as she thought it was 10:30. I had given her up and gone on the ferry when in she came. Sam dropped us off at the Gowman Hotel and got the car serviced. We went to lunch for "Little Sisters" and had a marvelous time. We introduced our "Sisters" and heard a good program. Saw Mrs. Ostrander and was I glad. I hope to visit her chapter one day. Afterward we all separated, and I ordered two pair of shoes, got a new hat and some...
