Charleen Smith

Charleen Smith died January 16, 2022, at her home in Shelton, WA at the age of 82. She was born January 30, 1939 in Shelton to Elmer and Mary Smith.

Ms. Smith graduated from Irene S. Reed High School in Shelton, attended Olympic College, the University of California, and worked for Simpson Timber Company in Shelton for 32 years.

She was an active member in the community and belonged to St. Edward Catholic Church where she was a past leader of the Church Youth Organization (CYO). She was also a past member of the Mason General Hospital Auxiliary, Zonta Club, and various other organizations. Charleen was very social and enjoyed traveling. She owned and operated Good Time Tours in Shelton for many years. She was loved and will be greatly missed.

Surviving are brothers David, Richard, and Don Smith; sisters Marsha Geist and Judy Harlow; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at February 9th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church; 601 W. C Street in Shelton. Burial will be at Shelton Memorial Park.
