The sun makes an appearance last week and streams through the trees on the hiking trail at Twanoh State Park. Twanoh hosts a First Day Hike at 1 p.m. Saturday. The trail is approximately 2.3 miles and those wishing to hike should meet at the trailhead by the bridge at the campground entrance. The hike is rated as moderate and sturdy hiking boots and a hiking pole are recommended.
