On the day before Thanksgiving, Evergreen Elementary School first-grade girls take off at the school's 44th annual Turkey Trot. The winners among the boys and girls of each grade level took home a $25 Walmart gift card to help with Thanksgiving dinner, second-place winners received $15, third-place winners were given $10, and fourth-place winners received $5.
