Robert Kline Bonnett, III

Robert Kline Bonnett, III, passed November 9, 2021 from esophageal cancer.

Written in his own words, "Bob" was born February 27, 1952 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Betty and John R. Bonnett, he was the second of four children.

Bob received his Architecture Degree from the University of Idaho in 1974 and practiced for 28 years before retiring in 2002.

On July 24, 2000, he married Janet Ann Siegert and raised three sons; Erik and Tyson Siegert and Mike Bonnett.

Bob loved to work with his hands, grooming show cattle in his youth, a motorcycle mechanic in high school and to furniture design and making in retirement. A later in life discovered joy was hiking in the Olympic Mountains accumulating up to 500 miles a year. Bob and Jann designed and built their dream home on Harstine Island in 2004, living there until 2021.

Bob was preceded in death by son, Erik Siegert and sister, Nancy DeLacy. He is survived by his wife Jann, sons, Tyson Siegert and partner Jamie Manges, Mike and Liseth Bonnett, and grandchildren, Otto and Greta Siegert.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a future date post COVID. Friends can notify Jann of their desire to attend.
