Dedicated to the citizens of Mason County, Washington since 1886
Forrest James Hoffman, Age 52, passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 20th, 2021. He was born in Spokane, WA, on January 8, 1969. Forrest is survived by his mother, Wyn Hoffman; his sisters, Krysia Shorten and Allison Nelson; his step-son, Cody Maheu; his nephew Daniel Huff and his niece, Caysie Huff.
Forrest was known for his big heart and easy-going, laid-back personality which will be missed by all who knew him. He always had this crooked smile and a twinkle to his eyes that let you know he was up to something. He could make you smile even when you didn't feel like it and he always looked at life as something fun to be living; a new adventure or project was just around the corner. Always full of joy and willing to lend a helping hand to whoever needed it.
Forrest's passion was to be in his patch worked boat out on Mason Lake. Floating or sinking, the boat always brought him great joy and much laughter.
A celebration of life will be held at Mason Lake, Forrest's favorite place, in the summer of 2022.
