Kay was married twice and is survived by two sons, Joel and Ryan; two grandchildren, Savina and Evan; and her loving and devoted partner of 37 years, Larry Tommervik. Kay was born in Bremerton, WA, to Gene and Helen Demiero, with eight sisters and three brothers. Kay supported herself at Pacific Lutheran University, earning a Master’s degree.
