North Mason High School senior Dakota Filer signed his letter of intent June 13 at the Belfair school to play college football at Montana State University-Northern in the fall.

MSU-Northern is in Havre, Montana, less than an hour from the Canadian border.

The NAIA school competes in the Frontier Athletic Conference, which includes Montana Western and Eastern Oregon.

Filer, who was named to the Journal's All-County offense as a wide reciever and a first-team all-Olympic League selection at wide receiver. He was also named a second-team all-Olympic League kick returner.
