Lynn Patrice Allen

Lynn Patrice Allen, beloved mother and sister, passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 75. She was the youngest daughter of Dr. Edwin and Mary Lovell of Shelton, who preceded her in death. Lynn was born and raised in Shelton and was a graduate of Irene S. Reed High School.

Lynn is survived by her husband Ken Allen, her elder sister Coco Lomas, her three daughters, Andrea Coulter, Deidra Altman-Dott, and Kerri Altman as well as her grandson Alexander Arcaya.

Lynn had a passion for Hawaiian canoe and was actively involved in her local canoe club. She loved spending time on the water and had a deep appreciation for Hawaiian culture. Her other passions were art and drawing, and she enjoyed sharing her time with her pets. Lynn will be remembered as a kind, loving, and generous person who always put others first. Her spirit will live on through her family and friends, and her memory will be cherished forever.

A memorial service to celebrate Lynn's life will be held at Shelton Memorial Park on June 3rd, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lynn's memory to Mason County Hospice.
