Charles G. "Chuck" Fisher

Charles G. "Chuck" Fisher, age 82, passed away December 6, 2022, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA after a fierce battle with severe sepsis/septic shock and staphylococcus bacteria.

Chuck was born January 11, 1940, to Gordon Nehring and Cleo (Butler) Nehring in Shelton, WA. They later divorced. He was adopted by Lawrence Fisher upon his marriage to Chuck's mother. He was a member of the VFW 40 et 8; member of the Board of Directors of Mason County Historical Society; trained and served with Mason County Search and Rescue, and volunteered with the Car Show supporting Mason County Historical Museum, held in downtown Shelton. His love of playing poker earned him a place at the table for the World Poker Tour Tournaments in Las Vegas three times. The past three years he has been the manager of Spencer Lake RV Park.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Jeanne (Sallee) Fisher; a brother, Richard B. Fisher (Wilma) of McMinnville, OR; two sisters, Joyce McCormick (Rob) of Selah, WA; and Laura Studer of Shelton; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
