Vinyl Radio plays '70s hits at Shelton High

Mason County Community Concert Association's annual performance series continues with the Nashville-based band Vinyl Radio at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 25 in the Shelton High School Performing Arts Center.

Single-concert tickets are $30 for adults, with children under age 18 admitted free. Ticket packages for the remaining season are $50.

The four members of Vinyl Radio play music popular in the 1970s, including The Eagles, America, The Doobie Brothers, Crosby, Stills and Nash, and others.

The season concludes with the Sultans of String from 7 to 9 p.m. March 17. The musicians blend Celtic, flamenco, Romani music and Arabic sounds.

The Mason County Community Concerts Association has hosted shows in Shelton since 1949. It is part of a national association established in 1926 to bring high-quality music and entertainment to small towns. Season ticket holders in Mason County can also enjoy concerts presented in neighboring communities through special reciprocity agreements.
