Tom Isbell: A Celebration of His Life

Tom Isbell's Celebration of Life will be held August 13th, 2022 at Alderbrook Golf and Yacht Club, 330 E. Country Club Dr. in Union, WA BBQ nosh is offered from 1:00-2:30 p.m. and an open mic from 1:00-4:00 p.m. to share your music and memories.

Tom passed away suddenly of a pulmonary embolism on October 21, 2021. He is survived by his ex-wife and friend Nancy Isbell, walking buddy Oma Wilcox (jack-of-all-trades), Greg Linder and numerous friends and neighbors in the community of Union, WA.

Tom, former Navy and shipyard engineer, was an avid hot-rodder and published author. He moved to Union from Port Orchard in 2014, and in that short time became that neighbor who gave back; making his home shine, adding gravel to pot holes, shoveling snow on Main Street, mowing neighbors' lawns, picking up trash on his walks, and offering his garage roof to music jams during COVID. We all miss him.
