Mildred "Millie" (Leeberg) Nicholas

Mildred "Millie" (Leeberg) Nicholas, 84, formerly of Fawn Lake in Shelton, WA, passed away on April 4, 2022. She was a graduate of Stadium High School in Tacoma, Washington.

Millie retired as a driver for Exceptional Foresters Inc. and was a member of the Elks, Eagles, and the Junior League. She had a lifelong passion for all things outdoors, including hunting, fishing, camping and bird watching. Millie also enjoyed traveling and was a fantastic story-teller. She had the gift to gab and did not know a stranger. Millie was loved by many and will by truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Ted Leeberg, brothers Frank Leeberg, Gunnard Leeberg, Robert Leeberg, Martin Leeberg, Harry Leeberg and sister Frances Hayward. She is survived by sister, Lillian Settle, daughter, Barbara Glass, son, Mark Nicholas, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Services and a potluck gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Mason County Transit, 601 West Franklin in Shelton.
